I got a filling a few months back.. it was my first bigger filling (I had had 2 small ones awhile back). Well this one is still overly sensitive and painful when I eat certain foods. I was wondering how long this was sposed to last, or do you think they didnt do a good enough job filling it?

Thanks ~

Please return to your dentists' office as soon as yesterday. You may have a little infection. At anytime did you introduce trauma to the tooth (i.e. brushing too hard, chewing on something hard, etc)?

I had a filling yesterday.Fillings shouldn't hurt.Let us know what your dentist says.

No I havent eaten anything. It hurt after I ate a BANANA today. Weird huh? My mom said she had a filling like this once (she's had tons too) that took about 6 months to quit bugging her. This one hurts on and off. It's strange.
