Hi,

I'm new to this so forgive me if my questions are rather long winded! I'm a 21 year old student teacher and I'm currently in my third year of uni - this obviously results in lots of stress. I've recently been feeling under a lot of stress and my tummy pains have been getting more intense and regular. I am normally quite constipated and don't go to the toilet very often (which also causes problems) however, recently I have been having very bad toilet problems and it has been like water a few times. Does anyone else suffer when under stress?

I'm also quite new to IBS having been diagnosed when I was 19 and still feel a little lost at times. My stools are always very soft and kind of fatty - if that means anything to anyone! I know that I am lactose intolerant; however, does anyone know any other foods that I should maybe avoid? I soooo often get cramps after eating!!! Always when being full up!! And with takeaway foods such as Chinese.

Thanks very much
