Hi ALL,

My DH has been diagnosed with a 9mm stone currently sitting in the bladder. He has been asked to drink a lot of water so that the stone can pass out on its own.

I would appreciate if you all can share your experiences and if you have any advise to give so that he can pass the stone out smoothly.

Based on what I have read a 9 mm stone has to be smashed up before it can pass cleanly. I would search the word "passing" on this forum and that should give you some first hand stories.
