a long story made short:
I found out that a very good friend of mine- the kindest, most sincere and beutiful women you would ever want to meet- has been living with breast cancer for several years. She was in remission when we first met, but unfortunately the cancer came back and she has been having treatments for almost a year now.
This women amazes me with her strength and positivity every day! I can not even imagine having to go through such pain myself, and she goes in to work somedays!
I don't get that much news regarding her condition or whether it is improving, but I did just learn that right now her counts are pretty low and she is trying to stay in bed and get as much rest as possible.
I pray for my freind everday as I pray that everyone here on this board will have sucessful recoveries.

I just wonder though if anyone knows the success rate for a 40 year old patient who has been battling this disease for 10 years now? Is it feasable to assume that with continued treatments she will be able to get her counts up to a healthy level again?
