View Full Version : Wide Bridge with troubled Incisor

5 days ago I had a Bridge fitted that is '5 Teeth' in length, it is anchored by a Tooth at each end and one Tooth in the centre of the Bridge. The Tooth at one end is an Incisor and the other end is a Bicuspid.
The problem that I am having is that the Incisor is being forced to move in sympathy with the Bicuspid (the Bridge is one piece) and the Incisor is not happy about this extra movement and has become tender and annoying.
I am assuming that just like 'Braces' the 'Bridge' will eventually force the Incisor to accept it's new position and live happily ever after?
Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem after being fitted with a large Bridge? If so how long did it take for the Teeth to settle down and accept their slighly altered position?
