I am scheduled to have my back molar pulled in a few days. The tooth is too bad for them to fix. Can anyone tell me how this will feel? I am a nervous wreck..They told me they were just going to numb the area then pull the tooth. Any advice?

Don't worry, you should be fine :) You might feel some pressure/tugging, but you shouldn't feel any pain. It will probably be over before you know it.

you'll be fine :)
just remember to choose a good dentist. bad dentist would make the pulling hurt pretty much. ask arround, and if you can't find a good one, just go to oral surgeon.
don't forget to relax and think all the good things you can remember, it'll make the pulling faster and painless ;)

If you are really anxious about it, ask your dentist or oral surgeon for medication (Valium for example). I've had 2 teeth pulled within the past few years, one was a molar, and they did not hesitate to give me something because I was anxious about it. I probably had no need to be, but it sure helped.
