What is the best product to remove mascara? I wear contacts and very little make-up. I pretty much only wear mascara and lip gloss. What is the best way/product to use to remove my mascara?

Is there a type of facewash that i can safely rub over my eyes on a nightly basis that will take care of this?

Thanks!

this probably isnt the best thing, but i use anti-bacterial hand soap to remove eye makeup. it has been very effective - in more ways than one. last year my entire family came down with a highly contagious (and disgusting!) case of bacterial pink eye. i was the only one that didnt get it... because i washed my eye makeup off with anti-bacterial hand soap every night! lol

I use Philosophy "Purity made simple" face cleanser.....it melts away all the make up on my face and does an excellent job removing mascara without irritating my eyes.

I use Loreal's gentle eye makeup remover it works really well and doesn't irritate the eyes or skin!

Neutrogena has a foaming facial wash that removes ALL makeup at once (mascara included), and it works beautifully.

I also used to use antibacterial soap in the past and found it to be the most effective of all cleansers, until I found this stuff. It literally eats through and dissolves all layers of makeup quickly, and totally effectively. It actually amazes me!

Also, it helps if you "roll off" the mascara with your fingers first, before washing.

I always had a hard time finding good face cleaners until I came across pond's cold cream, best stuff I ever used and my skin is very sensitive, it's perfect for my skin.

I use baby magic baby shampoo. I have used it on my kids since they were born and just decided one day to use it on me. I didn't have any facewash in the shower and grabbed it. No burning and worked great!

definitely ponds cold cream. close your eyes.. rub it on for 5 seconds.. take a tissue and wipe it off.. viola! works the same with plain ol vaseline too... (although vaseline stays on the skin for longer)
