ok im 19 years old and just started taking it 15 mg i thinks its the greatest thing thats ever happened to me any ways weeks into taking it i start getting head aches. day by day they get worse and worse untill one day i just stopped i didnt even get through one and a half script, the headaches stopped, well i talk to my neighbor who is a doctor and i asked him could it be because of dipping. i was told nicotein is a stimulant to, and that the two combined might be giving me these severe headaches. anybody know anything about this your info would be greatly appreciated.

I hate dipping, it always gives me the worst headaches. Also, coming down from a dose of adderall can cause headaches. you should probably just quit dipping.

Please update an ol geezer former druggie sixties hippie style. What the heck is dipping? If it is any form of drug abuse, stop it immediately before you ruin your life.

I am a recent ex-smoker (still in a struggle with it actually, let's say almost ex-smoker tee hee), and I am on Ritalin (30mgs/day) and I can't say that I got headaches but it wouldn't surprise me. Nicotine is a stimulant because it raises your blood pressure temporarily, as do other stimulants such as Adderall and coffee/tea etc. So I can see how all these things put together could cause a variety of ailments, headaches would not surprise me. Sorry I couldn't be more help, good luck to you!

I'm taking 30 mg once daily, in the morning. The headaches you speak of might be hunger headaches. It depends on if Adderall affects you like it does me. I lose my appetite completely. Just the thought of food makes me queasy until about 6 PM. So from 7am when I wake up, to 6pm, when I get home, I eat absolutely nothing. The headache usually starts to kick in around 5 PM. Once I eat, the headache goes away. I've gotten these same exact headaches before I was ever on Adderall. In my case, they are definitely hunger headaches from having an empty stomach all day. If you aren't eating much, that could be the reason for the headaches. If they're really bothering you, you could try snacking throughout the day so your stomach isn't empty. If the Aderall isn't killing your appetite, then I don't know what would be causing the headaches. I hope this helps.

The headaches are likely from "coming down" off the adderall. They should go away with time. Also, for me, Adderall XR spanuls compared to the tablets even out the highs and lows. So a lower potential for H/A's. Also, your body needs time to adjust to the adderall. The first week I was horribly sick and had constant H/A's. This evened out over time.

Hey,
I dip and take over the recommend dosage for adderal. I have built a tolerance for it. I am prescribed 20mgs-three times a day. But I take 80 mgs to 100mgs a day.
I sometimes get headaches but not every often, I also had a skull fracture.

any ways everyone’s body reacts different.

hi, i have a 9 year old who has Tourette's Syndrome/ADHD/OCD/Autism/learning problems. He is on Tennex 1.5mg twice a day. My question is about side effects during puberty, since he is going through early puberty. Will it harm or diminish his reproductive organs?
