Hey guys,
I work out all week long. I am 6'1 200 pounds...11% body fat. Big frame, some fat, but mostly muscle. I lift hard all week, eat properly, get all the protein and stay away from junk. Then comes the weekends and I drink and eat pretty bad. Does this make the working out during the week worthless? Or does it just slow down results? Should I just enjoy my last year of college then get super serious? Or what

Honestly, it all depends on what your goals are. If you want to gain muscle and get ripped, then you know what the answer is to your question already. But I take a day off and allow myself anything and everything once a week (including copious amounts of alcohol!) and have seen no real adverse affects from it (except for the next morning!!) in terms of strength and growth.
College is there to have fun... But, i think it was mentioned in another post that when you drink and eat fatty foods, your liver prioritises removing the alcohol from your body, allowing the fatty foods to go get converted to fat deposits and keeping your body fat higher, which means if you're looking to lower that, then yes, you are working against it. Personally though, I say you need to play hard and have some fun, especially in your senior year at college!!

Husky,
If that 11% is a trustworthy figure, you are hard as rock at 6'1" and 200#. You could probably be posing for Men's Fitness magazine. :D:D
Sometimes bodyfat measurements are hard to get right. Are you sure of yours?

Yeah I am. It was done by a professional at my school. I lift 90 minutes a day and easily get 200 grams of protein by eating fish, grilled chicken, skim milk shakes, etc.
I agree with Slinky. When I'm done school, I think I'll drink a little less and eat healthy most of the time. But my goal isn't to be a bodybuilder, so I think I'll always try to have some fun.
I just wanted to know how damaging it was to have pizza at 2 am after drinkin all saturday night (stuff like that). Is it a waste to workout all week to have such a bad weekend.
