I just started working out again and apparently I am not in very good shape
After about 25 minutes of cardio, I feel real weak, almost like I am going to pass out. It takes about 45 minutes for me to feel like I have "recovered".
My diet is not good right now (pbj sandwiches, processed frozen dinners, etc.). Could that be the reason?
I'm 25 female, 5'6 145 pounds.
Thanks

Diet is a big part of it, being out of shape is probably another, maybe low blood sugar to boot. Clean up the diet as much as you can as a first step. Also, start off your cardio with a little lower intensity that you can keep up for 30-45 minutes - walking is a good start if need be. And make sure you are hydrated and have eaten something maybe 30-60 minutes before you exercise. Not a lot, just a piece of fruit or some tuna or something small. Just pace yourself and you'll be able to increase intensity in time. good luck. :)

I agree with the above poster. Try eating a little bit better and take it slow on the exercise. It's not uncommon at all to feel "sick" after exercising if you're just starting out and in not that great of shape.
Do you drink alot of water? That's very important. Flush out those toxins!!
You could easily have a bit more bad bacteria in your gut than good bacteria.
And when you exercise, it gets it all moving around -- making you feel kind of sick.
Walking is good. Drink lots of water and try eating either some yogurt or take some probiotic capsules.
I started to exercise a couple of years ago - taking my dogs for a walk or run for them. I have some foothills near our house. The first week - I thought I was going to die. I actually felt like I was going to throw up. And I was walking slow but the first part is uphill.
I can now walk it just fine. And I don't feel sick any longer.
You'll improve. Just take it slow and easy.

Your bad diet and the fact you are out of shape are the reasons. Have better eating habits and start out small for your workouts and build up from there
