I have been doing really good on my diet, eating low fat high protein foods more fruits and vegetables, etc. and yesterday I had a double cheeseburger and fries from Mc donald's and I feel so horrible about it. Plus I had about 4 no bake cookies. It's less than a week before my period, so I don't know if that's why I was craving fat, but does anyone have any good suggestions about fighting cravings for fattening foods. Mc donald's was the only thing I felt would satisfy my craving yesterday!! what is wrong with me???

eat an avocado. youll feel maybe sick after, but thats better than feasting on a heart clogging madcow corporate greaseburger.

Don't beat yourself up over it. An indulgence isn't going to kill you. You just don't want to make a habit out of it.
I think your body sometimes craves what it needs. After splurging like that - just go for a walk afterwards. :)

Nothing's wrong with you! Don't get too bent out of shape . . . you're doing great! You want your diet to be flexible enough to fit your life and desires, and if one day that desire = McDonald's, then go for it! (unless of course it's everyday!) What you ate is NOT bad, just enjoy the indulgences and then get back onto your healthy eating plan. try your best not to beat yourself up and just move on. concentrate on how great you've been doing!

Sometimes you Need to Feed your cravings....you just hope they arent happening every day. Doing something like that even once a week would not be a problem. Try looking at your week as a whole rather then looking at each individual day.
