I have had my BP under control now for about 3 months or so. It has been normally 115/75...I take Linsinopril HCTZ 10/12.5 and Toprol XL 25 mg. today I went to the doctor's and my BP was 120/78. I came home and around 230p I started to not feel too well.

I ate breakfast at 530-6am...a late lunch at 230 (I started to get a headache that's why I ate)...then a little later..neck pain ( I must say I have tendonitis in my right hand...a pinched nerve in my neck and problems with my lower back which does cause me pain in my legs) a headache and feeling lousy. I haven't had any coffee or soda for about 4 months now...I decided to get a medium Cappuccino on the way home ffrom the doc's today.

Could the Cappuccino or caffein make me feel like this or raise my BP??? From what I've researched they say no connection between coffee and high BP. Could the pain make me all of a sudden have elevated BP?? I do feel jittery, but when my BP goes up it does stress me out and I feel very anxious which in turn will give me an anxiety attack. My bp tonight has been..low 140's/high 80's or low 90's. Any thoughts or imput would be greatly appreciated.

In my experience, caffeine and esp. expresso-based coffee drinks push my bp up. I don't let this fact keep me from drinking some.

Me too,
At the rate of 42 ounces a day before breakfast.
A day without coffee is...well, let's see...I DON'T KNOW! :bouncing:
