I just had my 6 mo visit with my neuro today. My last MRI was in Aug. He showed me the films and it is so obvious that there was "remarked improvement." There were many lesions last year, this yr there is only one clearly visible with the naked eye (to me). The Avonex is doing its job. It is preventing new lesions and helping my immune system so my brain can heal itself. I am so happy. Granted, it isn't cured, but it isn't advancing either. One yr down, many to go. :)

Hey, Congratulations! I'm overdue for an MRI, but I've just moved from Seattle to Scottsdale and am still dealing with a million little things- like finding a job:)
It always feels so great when we see that the actions we're taking actually have the hoped-for beneficial effects. Good for you!!!
