I am in the process of tracking down my doctor to talk to her about switching pills because of my non-exsistant sex drive. I am currently on Lo-Ovral. I know all pills effect people differently but I was wondering if anyone could tell me their experiences with the pill they are on and how it affects their sex drive. Thanks!

I was on OTC Lo, but get switched because of low sex drive. I'm on the patch now and have no complaints in that department.

I think all birth control pills do that. Some are worse than others. I was on LoOvral too and they switched me to Levenol for some reason. I hate them both. However, I took my last pill last Sunday and I'm going completely off. After this I'm going to do natural hormone replacement. I'm 50 but I think I still might need an additional contraceptive. I'll have to talk to my doctor about that.

weird. I was on alesse and had no sex drive, so i went off the pill for a couple months until it returned and yesterday the doc put me on lo-ovral in hopes of keeping the problem from returning. I guess these things are different for everyone.

I was on Marvelon and had ZERO sex drive... I also had really bad anxiety and nightmares from it... I switched to OTC, and I haven't had ANY problems with it - and I've lost almost 5 pounds in the last month!

I'm on ortho tri-cyclen and it actually has increased my sex drive... so i suppose it's a correct statement to say each person is affected different and with different bc pills.

I've been on 4 different pills trying to find one that doesn't affect my sex drive and haven't had any success. I guess some of us are just more apt to have this symptom! I can't wait till I don't have to take these pills anymore.

I was on Yasmin for about 8 months and for the last 2 month I was on it, my sex drive was gone. I switched to Estrostep last month and within a few weeks, it was back and I was feeling great! I highly recommend switching if you're having problems. Don't hesitate like I did.

I'm on Alesse, and I mine has dramatically increased. When I was on OTC, I had no drive at all.
