I was just diagnosed with possible Ibs yesterday and doc gave me bentyl 20 mg to take as needed. My question is that my main problem is nausea and tar(not dark just consistancy) like stool. I have slight pain on my left side and I am tired and feel out of it. Will the Bentyl help these things or is it just used for cramps? Im feeling nervous about taking it because of the side effects. Has anyone had problems from this med?
