Tubal Ligation - what to expect after it's done [Archive]

I'm talking about just the first few days, I have heard there can be some pain from the gas coming out that they pump into you and have even heard of shoulder pain because of it? just looking to know what to expect a few days after having it done, I'm going for mine Jan 19th

The gas gives pains up into your shoulder, but this will go away after a day. I have had this twice. It helps if you can rock in a rocking chair.
