Well I started my diet last week and actuily did good. During thanksgiving week, I lost 2.5 lbs! Anyways, (I weigh myself Fri Mornings, I noticed I didn't loose any weight this week!) I've noticed that I havent been drinking as much water as I did last week. Honestly...I only get like 3 cups a day. I'm never thirsty. But I started today with 2 cups and will try and drink around 8 a day. Also, I live in the New England so its very cold and I didnt go to the gym at all this week so no intense eliptical and weight training. But I did go on a 30 minute walk (fast pace) every night. In 20 degree weather!! So I guess thats my overview. I eat around 1,600-2,000 cals a day. I'm going to eat 1,400 and see wat happends this week. My questions are-Is the more water you drink the more weight you could loose? Can not enough water inhibit your weight loss? And what other exercises could I do? thanks!

Not enough water can definitely inhibit your weight loss. Dehydration inhibits your metabolism therefore stopping weight loss.

Also when you dont drink enough water you body will retain it more...so you can have more water weight.
Just because the Scale didnt show anything doesnt mean you didnt lose anything. Your weight will easily fluctuate a few pounds from day to day. If you weighed yourself every day you would notice these fluctuations and you would notice that you have Highs and lows through out the week. So if you weight yourself one week and it was at one of those lows, then weighed yourself the next week and were at one of your highs....you may have lost a lb or two but not see it on the scale.
Just keep up the good work!
