Hey guys....

I am 21m in college....I was diagnosed with Anxiety / Panic Disorder
2 months ago....

Since taking the MEDS....( ZOLOFT and ATIVAN ) I have been experiencing OFF and ON Left Side / Flank pain (more discomfort/nagging).....

This past 2 weeks I have also noticed that after I pee, It seems to form this White Particle / Swirl Layer on top of the Urine....? It just seems to form on the top, or rise to the top of the CLEAR Urine....It almost appears cloudy on the top, but will clear in 5 minutes or so....?

I have NO pain when Urinating...NO Blood...NO Fever....Just a discomfort in my Left Side ( 2-3 inches above my hip, below my ribs...maybe a little behind it, but not my back)....So?

Anyone have any suggestions? Thoughts? UTI? Kidney Infection/Disease?

Could it be a muscle pull or something? (But I have had this OFF and ON for 6 weeks...and I don't even notice it sometimes...mostly when I am moving around a lot....bending down and up)....

What do you think?

Thanks
-B

Do a search on Colon Splenic Flexure. This is the portion of the colon where there is a sharp bend into the descending colon. Many times gas will get trapped there causing pains similar to what your are describing. Anxiety can contribute to this. This is one thing to look into to. Good luck!
