Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is heart related or not...and if not what it might be.

For the last week I have been having a periodic squeezing feeling in my chest. It is located right between my breasts, slightly off to the right and aprox. an inch and a half in area that is affected. Each time it happens it lasts a few seconds but it seems to growing in intensity. I feel it most when I am in a seated position. I have no other symptoms that would lead me to believe that it is heart related.

I do suffer from anxiety and I have been very stressed lately. Any ideas?

Thanks

Almost always in the early stages of coronary blockage, chest pain or pressure in the area of you describe happens with some exertion. However, that does not rule out a heart problem or something else that may require medical attention.
