babygirl224 12-10-2005, 04:04 PM My DD is almost 10 weeks old. She smiles all the time and makes cooing noises but how old until she starts to giggle? Spanish 12-10-2005, 05:41 PM I think my DD started giggling around about 13 - 14 weeks. It was very occasional at first but we get more and more now. Sometimes she laughs just like Beavis and Butthead - Heh, Heh, Heh, Heh. It's so funny! jenn.e 12-10-2005, 06:49 PM Our little one started to giggle at 4 mos when Daddy would tickle her. I almost started crying, it was the sweetest noise! feelbad 12-11-2005, 10:00 AM it will just 'happen" one day ,most likely very soon.both my boys just started cracking up one day out of the blue.i can't remember what caused it to actually happen but if i remember right, with both of them it involved the cat and the dog. They will just see 'something' that hits them that way and you will hear that wonderful sound of baby giggles.Gosh it sure is a wonderful sound.Hang in there,it could just happen like today or tomorrow.let us know when it happens and what caused it.if you can, keep him around some sort of animals.honest to god,i don't know just what causes it,but babies just seem to LOVE to laugh at any sort of animal like when you play with the cat with a string or something?must be really funny stuff in "babyland".Marcia Laur77 12-11-2005, 02:10 PM My son was 3 and a half months. He still only does it periodically, but it is soooo sweet when he does! Had to laugh about the Beavis and Butthead thing, cause that's exactly what he sounds like. Gayle0000 12-11-2005, 02:59 PM Our daugher is 3 months old, and she just started making noises that sounded like little laughes every once in a while. Now, we are convinced they are really little laughs and she does them a lot more often. She's so cute when she's laughing. It makes us laugh. This morning she was cooing up a storm and letting out laughs and it was making us laugh. It will happen soon. Spanish 12-11-2005, 03:42 PM Oh I forgot to say what she first laughed at...it was her daddy dancing around the kitchen. We thought that was great because I've been laughing at his dancing for years!! LOL! roxyfoxy 12-11-2005, 04:35 PM Is my son a bit ahead of everyone else's? He's been smiling for a week (he's 1 mon wed.) and he rolled over belly to back the other day. I am so confused by this. I mean, I am proud, don't get me wrong, but it caught me WAY off guard. |
