Hi, I am new to this board :) Heres my story, I had my first Surgery in Sept. The other in Nov. After my first one my middle finger was just not right and i just thought it was from the surgery. One morning last week i woke up with my finger locked shut. I was able to open it up but it sure does hurt. I went back to my hand dr. He says i have trigger finger. I never had it before surgery and i am concerned that maybe he did something during my surgery ???? He is going to fix my trigger finger in Jan. I sure would hate to have him fix it if he is not a good doc. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you guys very much.. Brenda

hi, I had left hand done in august, 2004 -no problem
right hand done in june, 2005 and I have had lots of problems, just got taken out of work again for 2 weeks, hand sore, weak and now have clicking in my finger, I think that is trigger finger, can it go away by itself? I don't know but will ask Dr. at next visit.

thanks for your reply, I have heard that it can go away but mine seems to be getting worse. My dr. also said"you have 9 more fingers that it might happen too" Have a nice day, Brenda
