What exactly is duodenitis? When I had my EGD and Colonoscopy done last week, my doctor said I had this. I am only 33 years old. Is this related to Celiac Disease? He took some other biopsies which I am awaiting the results on.
Thanks. :)

It would be an inflammation of the duodenum which is the opening from the stomach to the small intestine. Sometimes people get ulcers there and sometime it is just inflammed from medication like Motrin, or acidic things. Anytime you see "itis" on the end of any term it mean inflammation of the whatever.
