View Full Version : How do they DX ms..what if MRI is Normal? can you still have MS?

I'm awaiting MRI results still, but am curious what if it were to come back normal? is there a chance you still can have MS?? Its all so confusing..

Yes, you can have normal MRI and still have MS. Sometimes the lesions are too small to show up, and also Lesions come clear themselves up in some cases. So where there was a lesion before, it may appear smaller or larger or not at all on your next MRI. Did you have both spinal and brain? I ask because my initial MRI they only did the brain and nothing showed, but they did both after my next attack and my spine was caked with plaques, Unfortunately now my brain has caught up with my spine, but having plaques show in your spine before your brain is a little out of the norm, but I'm proof that it can happen.
