How long does it take fir a baby to get use to a faster nipple. At what age should u start to switch? Mt dd will be 10 weeks tomorrow and it takes forever to finish a bottle.

Also what age do they start cereal and then jar food?

I don't know if there is a timeframe for a faster nipple. I think it's just whenever your baby is ready for it. You can try it and if she chokes, it's coming out too fast for her.

As far as solid foods, our doc recommends starting them on cereal at 4 months, doing that 3 times a day for a full week and then introducing fruits and veggies one at a time for 3 days before introducing another. By the time they are 6 months, according to our doc, they should be getting 3 meals of solids a day, to include at least 8 tablespoons of cereal (total, not per meal), at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies, and at least 20 ounces of formula per day. Some docs recommend starting cereal earlier and some say not to introduce solid foods until 6 months, so I would ask what yours recommends.
