Unfortunately Michael,
There's no free lunch.
What a water ionizer does is that it softens water by removing calcium and magnesium salts (other salts too) that make for bathroom rings and clothes that wash poorly.

Unfortunately there is no cheap way to just REMOVE these salts, and a water ionizer merely swaps them for sodium and chloride ions, i.e., SALT.
This hidden salt can readily raise blood pressure. I doubt, though, high enough to cause dizziness.

Personally, I don't know how anyone can drink the water afterwards...to me it always tastes salty. Some people use the ionizer only on water that goes into the washer or only on the feed to the hot water tank.

Oh God :( I have been drinking this kind of water for the last 6 YEARS of my life, I just had my magnesium and potassium levels checked and they are fine but I was worry because I heard that Water Ionizer causes cancer and I have enought :(.

Lenin I didn't get it, what do u mean by "Unfortunately there is no cheap way to just REMOVE these salts, and a water ionizer merely swaps them for sodium and chloride ions, i.e., SALT.

Michael,

By "hidden salt" I mean the salt that isn't supposed to be in our drinking water but IS for water that is passed through an ion echanger.

Hello Lenin,

But the machine doesn't add salt to the water? it's just use electricity to remove the salts from the water. I have the feeling that this is not healthy too.
Thanks,
Michael
