They found the lump, but it did not show up on the ultrasound. They did the mammogram and did not say anything. This worries me. They said no to the ultrasound but did not say anything about the mammogram. Anyone got any ideas? We are a bit worried.

You should be getting a letter from the radiologist in the mail. It will explain your results and what the next step should be.

I too have a lump that can be felt easily but didn't show up on the mammogram. It did on the sonogram and my letter stated that I needed further evaluation with an ultrasound. Aren't they the same thing???? My PCP has decided to go ahead and send me on to a breast surgeon for the further evaluation.
