HI everyone.

I had an ultrasound a while ago for a problem unrelated to my kidney.. but on the report it says my right kidney has a probable duplex collecting system. I could hardly find any info on this on the net. Does anyone know anything about this? Is this something I should be worried about? It says the kidney is normal size though.

The kidney my cousin gave me is a duplex kidney. What that means is that there are 2 separate (instead of only one) collecting systems. My kidney also has 2 ureters. It works just fine so I doubt you have anything to worry about.
