So I went to an ENT complaining about post nasal drip and he said that I have a deviated septum.
Do those two really relate?

Do those two really relate? Yes, they definetly do, i have really bad post nasal drip and they told me it was from my deviated septum, do you have it alot i have it everyday, now my vocal cords are swollen, he said i guess it is from all the drainage in my throat

I have to get surgery tomorrow on my deviated septum as well as on my turbines and some other sinus related things. According to things I've read, about 80% of people have septums that are deviated, it just depends on the severity of the deviation. As another poster said, c'mon over to the allergy board as well as the ear, nose and throat board. My full story is on that ones (as well as ones of me complaining about my anxiety leading up to it).
