I just read that keeping your blood pressure at 115/76 mm Hg can make your RealAge as much as 12 years younger.

Something like is surely true. And a good percentage of the population--whom we are, of course, hate can do that is a matter of course. But it's not the case that you
get quite the same results by achieving that goal through lots of medication. And we just don't know how many years you'll lose by having your bp at 135, instead of 115, on medication, because the medicine itself introduces new risks. Unmedicated very high bp will get you early for sure, through ruining your heart or kidneys or both. We do know, sadly enough, that bp does correlate pretty strongly with longevity, but we also know that there are many exceptions to such general rules.

Well that being true I am really in trouble. I have battled blood pressure since age 28 after my third child. Take enough medication for a large size horse but just live as I can. You just have to live with any afflictions you have and try and stay within a good eating diet that does not make it worse. Mine is up and down. At this point in life I do not worry. Why worry. It is not going to change it and I am under the doctor care. Worry can be the biggest problem. I just count my blessings.
