I was wondering what the probablity is of being pregnant? I have been on the pill for at least 11 years. This is the only form of bc we use. Usually everything goes as planned. I was to have af on Tuesday but it has not started yet. Sunday by breast were very tender but that has gone away as well. I do not know what to think. I do not have any other signs that it is gong to start. I know i can get a test but didn't want to spend the money if i was being silly. Any way if anyone else has had this problem maybe you can help. Thanks for any information.

Have you missed any pills? Been sick? Used any other medications that might interact with the pil''s effectiveness?

If your answer is no to all of these questions, pregnancy is very unlikely. Used perfectly, the pill is 99.9% effective. I've had delayed periods while using the pill before, too. While it's surprising, it usually isn't cause for alarm.

If you don't get your period by the time you're to start your next pack of pills, take a pregnancy test.
