I tend to get cold sore a couple of times a year and they always seem to appear at the WORST times. I have a Christmas party to attend tomorrow evening for my husband's work and hate to give a bad impression with this horrible cold sore on my lip. I've been planning my outfit, nails, and recently I even lost a few pounds, so I was feeling really good about the night, but now I'm mortified by this cold sore on my lip. Does anyone know how to get rid of something like this overnight? Please help!!! :

Goodness...I don't know of a miracle cure, the only thing I've seen to help is as soon as they begin to appear to put garlic oil from a gel pill on it. I think once they evolve into large sores, it's kind of too late...sorry I can't help more.
