Its my secong month on microgestrin 1/20 fe and the first month i didnt get my period i just had brown discharge i took a preg. test and it came back neg. now it is my second month and it is the 4 day of taking the placebo pills and i still havent got my period. i had a little brownish pink discharge the last day i took an active pill. could it be normal? Then i took anothe preg. test and it came back neg. Could i miss a period on the pill? i have never missed a period before. Whats going on with my body!

well for me when i switched pills i missed my period and the brown discharge could be a yeast infection. But I did miss my period to and then i got it the next the month. Your period will not come if you stress out though (from what I have heard), the more you are stresses out and worried the more your period wont come.

The same thing is happening with me...I just switched to ovcon and I had a little spotting the first few days of the inactive pills but no period so far. I'm glad someone else has had this happen too, makes me a little less nervous!

It's normal to skip periods when first starting the pill.

My period still hasn't come but thanks for the replies it makes me feel a little better about it all knowing you can miss a period when starting a new pill and i am not the only one this has happened to.
But could it also be because i was on a different pill a few months before starting microgestrin 1/20 FE? I was on Seasonale for about 2 1/2 months but it made me pretty sick at times so i stopped for about a month and a half then started this one on the first day of my period. I was also just thinking it could be the big hormonal changes over the last couple of months of being on and off the pill. I'm just hoping its not because im pregnant, thats what kinda worries me the most.
