Hi,
I have been hearing my heartbeat in my ear when I exercise or run up stairs, etc. I am concerned this is related to my blood pressure, if I take my blood pressure after sitting still for about 5 minutes and relaxing it is always about 118/67 or so. But when I take it right after rushing thru the house or running upstairs it is usually 144/82. Is this something to be concerned about, that seems like a big jump for not really being that strenuous of an activity, or is that normal. The heartbeat in my ear is driving me crazy!! Thanks for any info.

I don't have any info for you, but I have had the same thing happen to me and yes, it is very annoying. Sometimes I can't hear anything past it, it is so bad. I thought it was my blood pressure but it wasn't. And right now it seems to have stopped? It has done it for years off and on. I do know that we have the large artery that runs right by our ears there. May be some kind of disorder? I have heard of Tinnitus? Don't know. Would love to know if anyone has any info on it.

I get the same level of increase in BP from around-the-house activities, but I'm very out of shape. Have been sedentary all my life, with only occasional "inspirations" to get moving, which never seem to last. I could be wrong, but would expect that those who are in better physical condition would be less inclined to have the blood pressure increase as easily.

I get the heartbeat in my ear when my ears get too full of ear wax.

Wow...Thats amazing, me too......I am not sure if its a heartbeat or not but it is a pounding in my right ear. It seems to go away when I put 1/2 vinagar with 1/2 rubbing alcohol, put drops in your ear for a couple of minutes then the other. Makes you a little unsteady for awhile but works. The vinegar cleans the ear and the rubbing alcohol dries up the water and kills the bacteria. Then again maybe its stress and the drops give me a sensation of relaxation.......................... :-)

I don't have the ringing in my ears but I may have to try that idea...*LOL*.
