I am 72 years old and have always had difficulties in concentrating at school etc ...
Although never diagnosed as such, I am sure I have always been ADHD and I wish there was Ritalin in my time.
Would I be allowed to use Ritalin at my age ?
Thanks for your reply!

i heard ritalin has been around for many, many years but i could be wrong. talk to your doctor and ask him, alot of older people take ritalin that i know. some say caffeine helps too. hope that you find that help that you are looking for

I read once (I'm sorry I don't remember where) that many seniors are given ritalin for cognitive problems and for depression. Tell your MD or Psychiatrist about your difficulties. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 51, but had cognitive problems all my life. I've been on stimulants for almost 4 years and they have helped greatly.
