A few months back I went on a 925 calorie diet and my weight dropped from 105 lbs to 85 lbs at 5 foot 3. I lost my period for almost 6 months and just got it back on Saturday. It was really light and already ended today. Right now Im back to 100 lbs. Is this normal for my period to be this light and short? Thank you :)

It is because your body has been through a lot and likely still is getting used to being somewhat healthy. You still shoudl be gainign weight, at leat 5-10 more lbs to be the minimum for health according to your height. Good job so far, but keep it up and your body should get back to health eventually..

When I am a little lighter than I am, my period stops. Right now I am getting it pretty regularly. But I had times when I didn't get it, either due to stress or because I hadn't been eating right and losing weight, or maybe both.
I remember being just on the borderline where I would get it or not, and then it was sometimes quite light. I remember one time it only lasted a day or so.

Why did you go on that diet? You realize that you are unerweight, right?

I also lost my period or so for 9 months from about last december to this september, iwas about 113.5 pounds at 5'5... i then went on the pill for about 3 rounds and had regular periods, but i stopped it like a month ago to see if my cycle would become regular, and i should have got it yesterday, but i still hadnt got it... i am about 115-120 pounds, eat very healthy and what not, and i dont understand how some people thinner than me could have regular cycles? i guess my cycles were never regular when i weighed about 135 pounds either. Should i keep staying on the pill to have a regular cycle? What's up with this?
