My mother has chf, diabetes & now renal failure. she is beginning to become disoriented and forgetful. her doctor suggested hospice last week & i am wondering how others have dealt with this. i hope she doesn't linger and suffer. some days she is better than others.

My husband is in renal failure.He is on Kidney dialysis.There are people who live on dialysis for many years.He has his bad days too.Dialysis would remove a lot of the fluid that is causing the chf.

Is she on dialysis? I had similiar problems and dialysis helped alot..
