Here's what I do, but do talk to a doctor, or good health food store person :) Mine is a variation on the "thomas recipe".

First thing in a.m. I take 2000 mg L-Tyrosine. I wait 30 minutes and then take 100 mg Vitamin B, and 1000 mg Vitamin C. The B and C are vital to help L-Tyrosine absorbtion. L-Tyrosine is the most helpful amino acid with energy and rebuilding the lost neurostransmitters (the pain meds take away our own natural ability to make dopamine/serotonin).

Then, with a later breakfast, I take L-Glutamine (dosage on bottle), Vitamin E, Flaxseed Oil, Primrose Oil, Vitamin B Complex, Liquid Vitamin Supplement (find a good one in liquid form - absorbs better) and 5HTP. The "oils" are very good for female support - go along way with depression. The 5HTP is similar to L-Tryptophan, so it is an anti-depressant. Also - I take about 1500mg of Magnesium (with Calcium). Magnesium is extremely important with relaxation.

I take another smaller dose of the L-Tyrosine (with B and C) again in the afternoon.

I don't take anything at night anymore, but was taking a third round of the L-Tyrosine (with B and C).

To sleep, I take 2 benedryl and that works for me.

Please make sure you run these by a health food store expert, or doctor ... they may not all agree with medicines that you may already be on.

Best of luck, and lots of Grace!
