Around the 9th of Dec I developed what I thought was a cold. But it didn't get any better. There was no sore throat or cough. Just a runny packed up nose, itchy scalp on the top part, swollen watery, itchy, gritty eyes. Itchy face and inside my ears. After 12 days and a night of no sleep I managed to get in at the new medicaid hospital. I've always had a gland slightly larger on the left than right. But they are both obvious when felt. They are located below the ears on the neck. The doctor made sure to feel all the nodes in my neck. He only gave me Allegra D which simply means I don't sleep for another night or maybe not for a long long time. It's already made a remarkable change in the symptoms though after only one dose. He also ordered some blood work.
I'm wondering now if I might have lymphoma. I'm 35 female which is not in the common age or risk range, but that doesn't really matter. I guess I will just have to wait and see what the blood work says. I'm not sure what all he tested me for. He said my skin felt hot even though I didn't register as having a fever. I've had sweats for a while now. Most of my life on and off. Perhaps thiis is some "smoldering" form of the disease. I had mono when I was 26 and I've heard that increases the risk as well.
Thanks for any input,
Blessings.
