hi, i have been on a couple of different boards researching implants and i was surprised to hear how many women get silicone. all i know about them is what i heard years ago relating them to connective tissue problems. what are the pros and cons of each and does anyone have any good articles or websites that might help my research?

From all I have read I would never get silicone implants, not matter how "safe" they are supposed to be now. I have heard too many horror stories. However, more docs seem to be using them again..they are supposed to look better, I have heard. But why risk your health??

I have had silicone implants for 16 years (replaced 2 years ago). Have had absolutely no problems at all. They have been proven to be very safe. Just research for a skilled board certified PS and you should have no problems. Try ( REMOVED)
