For several years I have had like an ingrown hair that keeps coming back in the exact same spot. It will usually last a few weeks and cause constant pain and then pop like a zit.

The last time I got it was a few months ago and I just popped it before it got out of control. Within a few days the bump was gone. However since then that spot hurts. Not constantly, but several times in the day its this dull nagging pain in that spot, tiny spot, not a large area. There is no bump there, so why does it keep hurting. I told my family physician about it and he didn't see anything, so had nothing to say. This is driving me crazy and it seems like it will never go away. I've never had oen of these bumps anywhere else, always in that one spot.
