Hey, i forgot to post this awful symptom on my last post, update. I am always so darn tired. Tired in the morning, tired during the day, tired at night. I do rest well, at least i think i do during the night, but of course, there are moments i have to get up to urinate and a bit of tossing and turning. But this tiredness doesn't feel like lack of sleep, feels more like body exhaustion. I don't know if it's because I haven't gotten my period in 3 months, the Prozac and a sudden side effect from it, or just plain ole hormones and weight gain. I tend to be an active person, so this is so new to me. Maybe it's my age, just turned 47. Anyway, hope it happens when I'm on that darn plane flying for 12 hours, lol.

Hi Andrea,
I'm so glad you are back! I'm 51, still having REGULAR periods, and I'm always tired because I have to get up so many times during the night to urinate! My doctor called me here at home today and is going to call in something that he thinks will help this symptom. However, even if I do get a night where I sleep well, my body is still tired all of the next day, and that afternoon sleepiness is awful! Since I work full-time, it is really hard. The newest (and very constant) symptom I am having is the buzzing in my feet and the pain in my heels. It is so hard being a girl during this time of life!
I have had the opposite problem from yours--I can't seem to gain any weight, and I eat a lot--go figure!
I hope you have a wonderful trip and feel much better!
Lynn

Oh God, I have the pain in my feet too, especially the right one, the heal and sometimes, I get out of bed and both my feet hurt. I hate it! I feel old and arthritic, LOL! Did you check your thyroid to see if it is going a bit too fast? Sometimes that can make u urinate a lot and eat a lot and not gain weight. But if it's ok, then u know it's just menopause! Thanks for welcoming me back, glad to be back!
