please someone respond if you know anything about my issue here.I did post a message about my toothpain.I had a rootcanal retreatment done a year ago and everything was fine until now.Ever since my crown was put on i've been having this throbing pain in my tooth,my jaw and my ear.Can i have an infection again even though i had the root canal done.I just wanna get this tooth out,i can't handle the pain.But i have to wait until i have dental insurance again.if anyone can help,please reply

You know I had the same problem and I went back to the endodontist who did the root canal and in my case it was even longer than a year later and there was no fee charged. His office does not charge for follow-up on a root canal that they performed. Perhaps this is the case with yours and they will see you at no charge?
I think it is a fairly common practice and maybe they can tell you what is going on with the tooth. Just a thought. Good luck to you.

oh and another thought - in my case the crown needed adjusting as the pain was caused by the crown being not quite right and throwing the bite off which can cause jaw pain. In this case the dentist who did the crown also adjusted that for no additional fee.
