Dh got the call at work. The polyp on his colon was just a fatty tissue. The rectal polyp was not cancerous but it is the type that needs to be watched. DH could not remember the name of the polyp but said it was very long and he thought it started with the letter L. UGH!! He is not the most detail-oriented person when it comes to those things. I would have made the person spell it over the phone! Anyway, he will got back for another colonoscopy in March to make sure that everything was removed (the rectal polyp was very large) and after that, he will need to go every 1-3 years for colonoscopies.

I'm very relieved that it was not cancer. I can't thank everyone enough for the support I received. I will continue to check in here. I have learned so much!
