Anyone ever hear if the accusations about Zicam causing smell loss were true. I had used the product for about 5 colds a few years back and in all but 1 case it clearly cut short not only the duration of the cold but severity of congestion in my sinuses following it. I stopped using it last year but just developed a cold today and went ahead and started using it again....the only thing I;ve noticed over the years is that it occasionally causes a metalic taste in my mouth but after a few weeks it goes away.
