Hello i got carpel tunnel or guyon's syndrome( i think guyons cause the numbness and tingling is in little finger and 4 th finger )

i'm thinking i should quit my job but they just recently officially offered me rhe job to start in january as afulltime emploee...now , i like the peple and the atmosphere but if i continue my hands will die.( daty entry job). The only job i've been hired at and now i have to quit it.. or should i stay?

help!! anyone with similar situations? well the job is not the only cause of me having carpal. I used to play alot of piano... and lots of computer stuff at home..but now i'm trying to not use the computer much after work. i'm to the point where my right hand gets tingling like i said in the little finger, 4th finger and middle finger.. and my hand feels weak somehow..and really tired EVEN when i try not to use it( been using theother hand and trying to avoid the affected one for a while) but still have symptoms.

it took so long to get a real job. i've been temping(taking temporaary jobs) always...butnow i think i cannot even do it

thanks

It sounds like you have cubital tunnel in the elbow. My pinky and ring fingers also tingle and go numb at night and I also have a typing job. I've had an EMG and I'll be discussing treatment options with my doctor in a little over a week, but I don't plan to quit my job, even though it most likely caused it - I have a workman's comp claim paying for the EMG so far. I won't quit unless my doctor says I will have to if I want my cubital tunnel to get better. If your job didn't cause it, I wouldn't quit just yet. If you haven't done so already, you should see your doctor about it and maybe a physical therapist who can recommend stretching exercises you could do to relieve the symptoms. It sounds like you really like your new job, so I wouldn't rush to any conclusions just yet. Good luck!
