I took Prozac and buspar seperately then togehter back in July. The prozac always caused teeth grinding, but the buspar caused this weird face twitching so I decided to just take the prozac. I stopped taking both in Oct. In December, I went back to the doc and he put me back on both of these. The buspar was causing twitches again, so I got off it and went back on just prozac. My face doesn't twitch now, but I still am very conscious of my face and mouth, and feel that it is very tense. Maybe this is just anxiety I'm having, because when I previously took prozac by itself, I never had this. By the way this particularly bothers me when speaking in front of others. Anyone else have this?

Teeth grinding and jaw clenching are side effects of ssri's. It's not anxiety or "all in your head." This happens to a lot of people.

I don't know what to do, I've got a date coming up this week and I'm so damn worried about my face and mouth that its holding me back from talking to people, I don't want it to effect my date. I'm wondering if benzos would help with this temporarily until my next doc appt?
