OK, this may be a little long but I'll try to keep this as brief as I can and still explain my being baffled!
I was with my BF for the first time about 9 months before my first OB and he had a raw sore spot on his penis that he said was from a friction burn from masturbation which I had no reason to not believe. I got no OB until after the next time he had another raw sore spot on his penis but this time there was no reason for it (no friction burn this time) it just came up. About 2 days later I started getting the first signs of herpes until about a week after that, I started getting sores and have gotten a full blown text book case of herpes. I was in a long/monogamous marriage before I was with my BF and neither me nor my husband ever had any signs of herpes, I only had one yeast infection and that was over 20 years ago...so not one sign! I have to assume my BF has herpes and these sores are herpes that he thought he was getting from masturbation...let me add they are always in the exact same spot...one or two of them at a time.
Here is the baffling part: At the same time I got my outbreak, he then got about 5 herpes sores on his face (he's had cold sores his entire life). His one sore on his penis turned into two sores right next to eachother(he says these sores looked like what he has always gotten). OK so now it's been almost 2 months into my outbreak...he keeps getting one or two herpes sores on his face...seems like when one clears up, another one pops up and no more sores on his penis but NOW he has a very sore pustule right between his leg and penis with a raw spot next to it that I think are herpes, it came up in the middle of the night last night...he says it stings like a bee sting. Why is it if he has had herpes and I got it from him, why is he getting sores in places he's never had. I wonder if it's possible that the sore that I'm convinced is herpes on his penis wasn't herpes and I got herpes from his cold sores? I have never had a cold sore in my life and have managed to not get a cold sore even though he has them on his mouth. Any ideas? Feel free to ask me something if you are confused..... :confused:
