In my senior year of high school(2002), some rich foreigner slammed a door on my head as I was walking into a classroom and I did nothing about it. I could of have him sent to prison or sued him, but I did nothing but sit in my chair and listen to him laugh at his tasteless antics. Hell I don't even know if Ever since then, I haven't been the same. I have no pride and feel like I'm partially retarded. Well thats all.

Hi - I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so down. Maybe this is something that you need to seek professional help for. Believe me, I know social anxiety is hell, and if yours is directly related to this one incident, it might be something that a professional could help you resolve fairly quickly. More likely, your SA is a result of many factors and experiences, not just this one, and that's all the more reason to seek help. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

Boy do I remember high school...{REMOVED}. I'm a bit confused can you help clear up some things...
You stated that a boy attacked you in 2002 and you did nothing. WHY? You don't know. Ever since that incident you have lost self confidence and have withdrawn from everyday llife. For example....you rather play your PSP instead of go meet some friends at a bar....if you have friends. or have you sunken so far in that you have lost contact with all of the peope that you used to get along with. What's your family life like....need to know a bit more
what's an everyday routine for you?

Well I'm pretty much housebound now(last 3 years). I always had social anxiety, but it's probably worse than ever now. I didn't do anything about it cause I was under duress from the "extreme social anxiety" is what I was saying. Now I'm a pretty big mess.

Every experience can have some sort of anxiety present...
1) Giving a speech when standing infront of a class or audiotorium you get nervous. it's a normal nervousness, over time it's controlable. Some one who has extreem anxiety problems would have called out and not going would show problem signs. It could be a perfect paper but at home it does not good.
I WOULD SEE YOUR GENERAL PRACTICINER IMMEDIATELY (TODAY), HE CAN RECOMMEND AND GIVE YOU THE NECESSARY....FORMS AND NAMES OF WHO TO GO TO SEE THAT SPECIALIZES IN THAT THERAPY . HE CAN ALSO START YOU ON MEDICAITON NOW WHICH YOU NEED AND BY THE TIME YOU SEE A SPECIALIST YOU WILL HAVE A WEEK OR TWO IN YOU.
DAVE I hope my voice it's not too authoritative and of course my opnion
