Hi all I am giving this a shot.
I have a 2 1/2yr old son and he gets severe stomach pain along with a very high fever. Sometimes it last one day sometimes it last 4 days. I have had him tested for allergies, milk ect. Came back negative. I still have took him off dairy and have him on Soy and limit his Choc.and ice cream. He has did better since off milk. But he still about 3 times a week get really bad stomach pains. And about every 6 weeks he get severe pains along with 103 degree fever. He was up All night last night with fever and pain and today too. I am just wondering if anyone has ever had this with there child. He is taken to a doctor regular. They aren't doing much...My next step is to demand a scanor ultasound of stomach. please any help is appreciated.

Have you checked him for Rota Virus? This is a virus that if the area is not treated well he can keep getting it over and over and over. It's caused by fecal matter and cross contamination. Lets hope that's all it is.
He'll be in my prayers and I agree with demanding every and all tests!

Absolutely demand an ultrasound and a blood test. For some reason (most likely at the direction of insurance companies), the medical community isn't running the proper tests unless you badger them. A friend just went through an ordeal with her 9-year-old where she took him to the ER twice in one weekend and was told he was constipated and had the flu. By Monday, his appendix had burst. A simple blood test at the ER could have saved the child a lot of pain. (He's doing OK now.)

Now, I'm not saying that your son has appendicitis, just pointing out the need to insist on the proper tests.

I've also heard of something called H Pylora. I'm not sure if it's a virus or what, but the symptoms sound similar to what your child is going through.

I had the same issues as a teen, my mother took me to the hospital about 4 different, eventually she stoped thinking, i was faking. I went to visit my father over the summer who live in another country (we are hispanic) and the same thing happened, only this time, they said it was my appendix, it had ruptured at that point, i had the operation, and the hospitals may be run down where we are from, but they found what american doctors over looked. I was very sick and hospitilised for a while.

In the early 1960's my uncle had the same issue, and my nana (his mom) kept getting sent home, until the day it ruptured. what a parrallel. My mom was a baby then(born in 57).

We were then told that all those small attacks were precursuors to the appendix rupturing.

That just our expiriance.
