Hi all, im 17 and male.

The gland behind my left nipple is about four times the size as the one in the right, and when i touch it it hurts. The one in the right feels fine but the one on the left feels painful when i touch it and its much much bigger and hard.

I have puffy nipples that stick out abit but i dont have boobs or anything because im thin.

And on the left nipple there are about four raised little dots that arent on the right one.

Also when i feel my pectorals underneath the skin there are loads and loads of little bumps, thats on both sides.


What do i have, its so anoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's tough to say really, because lymph nodes can swell up for any number of reasons. It's definitely something to see a doctor about. How long have you had this going on? Have you been in contact with any cats at all? Sounds dumb, but apparently people get cat scratch disease a lot more than one would think. Then again, that's what they told me I had, here we are four years later...

Anyways, give a tad more info, and I can try to help. Oh and if the four bumps are really small, I think that's normal? Nips aren't necessarily symmetrical, lol.

It always seems to feel wrong on the left side.

All i can say is the glands around the nipple are bigger on the left than the right.

I dont know what it is, its so strange :(

I had this happen around puberty. I read afterwards that it is not so unusual, while the hormones are juggling. I would get it checked out by a doctor.

Have you considered "gynecomastia"?

I agree with the "gynecomastia" thoughts. Since this can happen anytime from puberty into adulthood, it is worth considering. I doubt it is a lymph node since, from everything I remember from basic anatomy and endrocrinology, there aren't any lymphs nodes there. Besides, having been diagnosed with gynecomastia (first on the right and now on the left) it sound exactly like what I am experiencing.

You'll need to see the doctor. And, the most important reason is that breast cancer in men, while not at all common, can exist in 3% of men. Check it out and be sure. chris

Well i have a varicocele which is causing me great pain at the moment, i have piles from them and i am bleeding alot everytime i goto the toilet.
The pain is in my testicles and in m stomach, like an acidic stinging pain, it came the other day and has died down but is still there, its happened before but usually only lasts a day or so.
When the varicocele(left side) hurts the nipple does too, maybe its connected?
